State-owned carrier Air China will be acquiring 20 Airbus aircraft in a move to expand its fleet.
The purchase will include 10 Airbus A350s, which are scheduled for delivery in stages between 2018 and 2020, and 10 A330s, which will be delivered between 2013 and 2015. The carrier did not confirm the variants of the aircraft.
During President Hu Jintao’s visit to France earlier this month, the Chinese government signed a deal for a total of 102 Airbus aircraft, which will be distributed amongst all the Chinese carriers.
