Starwood introduces its second Aloft property in Asia through Aloft Bangkok-Sukhumvit 11, which opens April next year. The first Aloft arrived in 2008 with Aloft Beijing Haidan.
The 297-room property, located in the dense Sukhumvit district, is designed to have the same vibe as W Hotels – hip and tech-savvy. The rooms feature lofts with high ceilings, platform beds (a signature of the chain) and large spa showers. There are also "connectivity stations" for charging electronics or linking them to the 42-inch TV. An added perk is the free wifi availale for all guests around the hotel, including the public areas and the lounge.
Other facilities include 350sqm of meeting space with a prefunction area; two restaurants, including one that runs 24 hours; and a gym, also 24 hours, and an outdoor swimming pool.
More Alofts can be expected in the popular growth areas of China and India in succeeding months. For more information about other openings, click here.
