CapitaLand’s Ascott brand will debut in India on August 1 with a Citadines Richmond in Bangalore.
The 96-unit property will be located on Richmond Road in the city’s CBD and feature studios, one- and two- bedroom apartments for both short-stay and long-stay guests. Each apartment will consist of a fully equipped kitchen and separate work and living areas. The property will also have a swimming pool, poolside café, a gym and conference rooms.
The group has six other properties in the pipeline across the subcontinent, with one in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad and two properties in Bangalore and Chennai. While the Somerset Greenways Chennai is scheduled to open later this year, the remaining five properties will open over the next three years.
