Asiana installs First Class seating on Incheon-Frankfurt flights

17 Mar 2010

Asiana Airlines will install First Class seating on its daily Incheon-Frankfurt flights from April 1.

The service is popular with business travellers, said Asiana officials, citing annual figures indicating that the boarding rate of corporates was about 75 to 80 percent.

The three-class configuration will appear on the Boeing B777-200ER used on the route, adding eight more First Class seats, while Business Class with 28 seats and Economy Class with 262 seats remains unchanged. Asiana’s First Class product consists of a 180-degree flat-bed seat with 83-inch leg space between seats and fine wines and dining.

Flight OZ541 departs Incheon International Airport at 1230, arriving Frankfurt at 1700. Return flight OZ542 departs at 1900 and arrives 1220 the next day local time.

Asiana's new First Class offering goes head to head with those of Korean and Lufthansa, which also offer premier seating on the route.
