Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has taken delivery of a new Boeing B737-800 sporting the carrier’s refreshed livery.
The aircraft also features the Boeing Sky interior whose highlights include blue LED ceiling lighting, larger windows and larger overhead storage bins.
MAS ordered this aircraft type in 2008 at the the Farnborough Airshow, along with 34 more to be delivered by 2014 replacing its aging fleet of B737-400s. Twenty of these new Boeings will be deployed on long-haul routes.
