Turkish Airlines (TK) announced it will introduce its Comfort class (premium economy) product on all flights between Hong Kong and Istanbul by September.
Currently, this premier seating is deployed on the route only on Saturdays, but by September, all its six flights a week will feature the new product.
So far, Comfort class has been installed in TK's 13 Boeing B777-300ERs. Previously, the carrier leased this aircraft type from Jet Airways, which features the fully-flat beds in business and first class arranged in the herringbone style (see story here).
When the carrier took delivery of its own B777s last year, it unveiled the new Comfort class (see story here).
The premium economy product offers passengers a seat pitch of 116cm and a 49cm seat width. The seats are also equipped with a 10.6-inch screes and a connectivity panel with USB ports.
