BA adjusts China frequencies

18 Nov 2010 by BusinessTraveller

British Airways has made changes to the capacity and frequency on its China routes for the winter season.

The carrier has swapped its B777 aircraft on the Beijing route for a larger B747 jumbo, which it says increases capacity by 46 per cent in both premium and non-premium cabins. However the daily service operated over this summer has been reduced to six-times weekly, with no Heathrow departure on Friday.

Meanwhile frequency on the Heathrow-Shanghai route has been increased from five-times weekly to six-times weekly for the winter period, with Heathrow departures every day except Tuesday.
